Upcoming Meetings

You are invited to join Celebrate and other Christians from Medway's churches for prayer and worship.
There is prayer every Wednesday from 11:45a.m. to 12:30p.m. before the Celebrate meeting and also on Friday's from
6:15a.m. to 7:15p.m. at The Christian Centre, Napier Road, Gillingham. Please however, check the regularity of prayer
meetings during holiday months.

Every Friday during term time - Prayer at The Christian Centre,
Napier Road, Gillingham from 6.15a.m. to 7.15a.m.
under the banner " Sowing seeds of revival ".

Mon 7 June - Prayer Meeting for Schools

There is a Schools Prayer evening on Monday 7th June at St. Justus, The Fairway,
Rochester, from 7:30p.m. to 9:30p.m. This is an opportunity to hear from ordinary
folk already involved in school prayer groups and Christian Unions as well as input
from others currently engaged in ministry or service to our local schools. prayer will
follow for the expressed needs of that group or work after each slot. We will also be
praying for the developing and linking together ( as appropriate ) of the various initiatives.
Since we began these meetings back in October we have seen four new school prayer
groups begin and twelve are now meeting, there are also three teacher prayer groups
established from folk who have come along to the evenings and taken ideas away.

As we did in February, we will also be hearing from and praying for pupils currently running
one of the Towns' secondary school Christian Unions. There will also be a time of worship.

If you have any connection to a Medway school ( be it as a parent, grand-parent, member
of staff or just happen to live near one ) please do consider coming along and joining in the
evening and making it known amongst your own circles. We hope to encourage new prayer
groups to start as well as promote more practical involvement in the life of our schools.

Sat 19 June A Call to Intercessors for Medway at The Vines Church, The Terrace,
Victoria Street, Rochester 10.00 am to 12.30 pm, " an opportunity to share information
and insights concerning our area and to stand together on behalf of our community "

Sat 26 June Informal Worship Evening at Rainham School For Girls, Derwent Way,
Gillingham from 8.00 pm with musicians and singers from Medway's churches.
